Las Vegas Raiders: 3 Miami Dolphins to Worry About in Week 3
Jaylen Waddle, Wide Receiver
When taking a look at the numbers for the rookie wide receiver, many would not think these kinds of statistics would strike fear in the eyes of anyone. However, most of this has not been due to the play of Jaylen Waddle. The dynamic sixth overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft has shown he has the skills to become a star in the NFL.
This is due to already being one of the top receivers on this team, with a system and quarterback who have not shown it can have success in this league. Tua Tagovailoa may have been the best quarterback option for the Dolphins, but this does not mean that he is a great player in his own right.
The lack of a true passing attack has led Waddle and opposing number one receiver DeVante Parker to put up such pedestrian numbers so far this season. Waddle has big-play ability, and with his top-end speed and solid route running, he should be one of the few pieces the Raiders secondary should keep their eye on.
