Raiders at Steelers: Offensive Grades in 2021 Week 2

Offensive Line

Tom Cable is really a miracle worker for this Raiders team, as every single season, the injury bug seems to hit the offensive line particularly hard. However, it never seems to have a huge impact on the overall performance, and that’s not only credit to Tom Cable, but also these players as well.

The big thing is the depth, as these players continue to stay ready even if they aren’t starting. Not only were the Raiders without both of their staring guards due to injury, as mentioned in the first paragraph, 2021 first-round pick Alex Leatherwood also left in the first half of the game with an injury.

He is still questionable to return for Sunday’s game.

Brandon Parker stepped in and played really well.  Jermaine Eluemunor once again filled in really well for injured Denzelle Good, and left guard John Simpson should be locking up that position soon if Incognito continues to be out.

It always seems like no matter who or what the situation is this offensive line group will step up when everything is stacked against him which is a great thing not only for Derek Carr but the Raiders as a whole.
