Offensive Weapons

Coming into the season, the entire NFL knew the Raiders specifically had two special playmakers in tight end Darren Waller and running back Josh Jacobs, but who else? Would Bryan Edwards work out or be another wasted third-round pick by the Raiders? Is Henry Ruggs a bust, and why did they draft him as the first wide receiver in the 2020 draft?

I feel like all these questions are being answered in these first two games this season.

In the opener against the Ravens, Darren Waller was a pass-catching machine, though it was Edwards who proved to be the hero late. In Week 2, Ruggs certainly made his presence felt, as the Silver and Black put the game away on the strength of his 61-yard touchdown reception.

Looking at the weapons for each team, Las Vegas is better on both sides of the ball, but on offense especially. Remember, this is a team that just allowed 35 points to Buffalo, so Carr and company should have their way with them on Sunday.

Yes, the Dolphins are still a talented team that was in playoff contention last season, so this will still be a tough game for Las Vegas to win, but if I had to choose which teams’ overall skill positions players are better, to me it’s the Raiders hands down.
