Maxx Crosby, Defensive End

Why not get the most obvious one out of the way first. The Dolphins have allowed the most quarterback pressures among all teams this season, and now they face one of the best pressure pass rushers so far this season in Maxx Crosby.

The third-year pro not only leads the league in quarterback hits but also, quarterback pressures. Crosby receiving the honor of being named a team captain was not taken lightly among this group, as he has shown so far in his young career he is more than capable of leading this defense.

His 17 sacks in his first two seasons were sure indicators of this, but what we have seen so far from the former fourth-round pick has shocked even his biggest supporters. Maybe credit it to a new and healthier lifestyle, or the Raiders finally investing into some help on the defensive line, but whatever it may be, Crosby has looked like one of the top defensive performers in football so far.

Taking on an offensive line that has allowed more players into the face of the quarterback than any other team, Crosby should have his best game so far in 2021. With a backup quarterback taking the reins in Jacoby Brissett, expect Crosby to have a monster game on Sunday.
