3 reasonable expectations for the Las Vegas Raiders against Miami
Raiders Defense will Feast on Jacoby Brissett
No, it is not Thanksgiving, but this defensive line for the Raiders should have quite a feast this Sunday. The lack of pass-rushing has plagued the Raiders for years, especially since former All-Pro Khalil Mack was traded away. However, the Raiders have beefed up their defensive line, and are boasting one of the league’s best pass rushers so far in defensive end Maxx Crosby.
The Raiders defense has given headaches to not only Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, but also former MVP and dynamic two-way threat Lamar Jackson. So if the Raiders can contain those two performers, just how will they fare against the play of backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett?
Well, the answer should be “Handily.” Brissett is a quality backup in his own right, but with an offensive line that is leading the NFL with quarterback pressures allowed, expect Brissett to be on his back-foot for most of this contest.
Crosby and co. will have a sack-fest in this one, and if you have any expectations about this defense on Sunday, it should be elevated versus this offensive line
