Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 Week 3 fantasy football Sit or Start

Sit

Any Raiders running back

Even if starting back Josh Jacobs is back, he is banged up, and has been held out of practice so far this week. Not to mention the Raiders are starting backups at guard positions, could change if Richie Incognito finally gives it a go, and despite the play being strong of the guards in passing situations, they do not open many holes for the running game.

In Week 2, Kenyan Drake took over as the starting back, and he was effective in short passing situations, but the same can not be said for his running ability, as he only managed nine yards on seven carries. The back he split the backfield with, Peyton Barber, did slightly better with 32 yards on 13 carries, however, neither established the run game for the Silver and Black.

Although the Dolphins’ defense is not necessarily the strongest, it would still be wise to expect the Raiders to go to the air more often once again.

Bryan Edwards, Wide Receiver

The second-year man out of South Carolina is a very talented and big-bodied target for Carr, however, can he consistently provide receptions and yards? The jury is still out on this one, and now, taking on a Dolphins team that is not strong in many departments, one strength they do have is their cornerbacks.

Edwards will have a challenge to overcome vs the staunch Dolphins secondary.

Carr will surely look his way on more than one occasion but do not expect much production coming from his way. The eighth-year signal-caller will likely spread it around this game as well, and Edwards seems like the likely odd man out.
