Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders: 3 bold predictions in Week 3

Bold Prediction 2: Maxx Crosby adds at least 2 more sacks

Maxx Crosby has been, arguably, the best defensive player in the NFL through the first two games. He has wreaked havoc for both Lamar Jackson and Ben Rothlisberger, grading as PFF’s best edge defender in the NFL.

Crosby has clearly reached a new level, as he has a complete focus on bettering himself and his body, recently sharing his story of sobriety. It seems that learning from Yannick Ngakoue and Gerald McCoy has helped Maxx tremendously as well, as he looks faster off the ball, and his pass rush moves look much improved.

On the other side of how good Crosby has been, the Miami Dolphins pass blocking has been about just as bad. The offensive line has allowed eight sacks through two games, including six last week against the Buffalo Bills.

Considering the poor offensive line, and the more susceptible Quarterback in Jacoby Brissett compared to Tagovailoa, the improved Raiders pass rush should have no problem getting into the backfield on Sunday.

The Maxx Crosby breakout is not slowing down this week.
