Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders: 3 things to watch in Week 3
Can Carr continue?
Derek Carr is playing like a mad man on the field. He is leading the league in passing yards while doing It against stiff competition. Carr has been a beacon of consistent play for years, but what he is doing so far this season, is pretty uncharacteristic of him.
For all of his naysayers who say he plays it “too safe”, or “doesn’t take enough risks”, Carr is surely starting to silence his doubters. The Dolphins are not one of the toughest defenses to face in all of football, but their one specialty would be their secondary (especially at cornerback).
So will Carr once again torch another defense as he looks to lead the Raiders to a 3-0 record for the first time in almost 20 years? Well, it is hard to say, but keep your eyes glued to the television, because with running back Josh Jacobs likely out and banged up, Carr and co. will once again be looking to air it out for victory. And so far if the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers could not stop Carr, can the Dolphins take on this tall task?
