Las Vegas Raiders vs Miami Dolphins: 2021 Week 3 Offensive Grades

Quarterback

It’s another week of dazzling play from the captain in quarterback Derek Carr, who continues to shush all of his naysayers with his incredible start to the 2021 season. His only blunder, which resulted in a pick-six, was actually not his own, as Foster Moreau stopped short on his route, which resulted in the interception and score.

Besides this slight mishap, Carr was once again near perfect in this contest. Of his 386 passing yards, he spread it out among nine different receivers, and it seems that Carr is fully trusting the entirety of his receiving core. Taking on a tough secondary from the Dolphins, Carr once again showed that it does matter who the opponent is, he will deliver.

The quarterback was once again a key cog in a victory as the Raiders are now 3-0 for the first time since 2002. If he continues to play this way, he should be firmly in the conversation of a possible NFL Most Valuable Player award when all is said and done.
