Having a running back like Ekeler is a tough matchup for anyone, not only is he shifty and hard to contain when running the ball, but his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield makes him even more dangerous.
Ekeler has consistently been a tough matchup no matter how he gets the ball in his hands. The Raiders will have to keep an eye on Ekeler at all times, as the Chargers leading rusher is also the third-best receiving option for an electric Chargers offense.
The linebacking core will have a tough task trying to contain Ekeler, but this will be one of the keys to victory if they can, because so far, the multiple talents of Ekeler have led to the early success of this Chargers offense, and he plays a major role week-to-week in this offense.
