Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers: 3 things to watch in Week 4

Quarterback Battle between Carr and Herbert

The world is now aware of not only the hot start for the Raiders but that of its quarterback, Derek Carr. Leading the league in passing yards, the ‘captain’ is looking to add to his historic pace and pull out a victory in Los Angeles on Monday.

On the opposing team, the Chargers have a serious threat at quarterback. Justin Herbert is only in his second season in the league, but after a rookie record-setting season, he is one of the top quarterbacks the Raiders will face this season. Herbert has gone over the 300-yard mark in consecutive games and will look to add to his streak next week in Los Angeles.

The play of Herbert is helped out by the dynamic one-two combo of wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. The play of the two has led to Herbert having so much success, and for the Raiders to have any success, they must get to the talented young quarterback at all costs to limit his chances to go downfield to the pair.

Carr has been no slouch himself, especially when looking at the numbers, and at this point in the season, one of the top performers in all of football. We may see a shootout Monday in LA, and this battle should be one that no person with a pulse for sports should miss.
