4 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will beat the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4

The return of Josh Jacobs

The Raiders were rewarded with a pleasant surprise this past week, as the faith in veteran running back Peyton Barber finally paid off, and spelled out a victory in a huge way for Las Vegas. However, it is risky to bank on the veteran back week in and week out.

Although he tallied over 100-yards rushing this past week, he is a 50/50 roll of the dice to produce, and his week two stinker against the Pittsburgh Steelers indicates this. Barber will see some touches in this contest, as he has shown he can be trusted upon to produce, but there is no doubt that Josh Jacobs is the leading back in this offense.

Jacobs was able to make an impact in Week 1, the only game in which he has played so far, but this was mainly due to being banged up. Despite the lengthy struggles of this Raiders offensive line, Jacobs should still find pay dirt in this matchup, and is head and shoulders above fellow running backs Barber and backup Kenyan Drake.

The return of the third-year back and being healthy at that, should play a huge role in how the Raiders pull off a victory come Monday.
