Las Vegas Raiders: Keys to victory against the L.A. Chargers in Week 4

Raiders offensive goals for Monday night

The Las Vegas Raiders will allegedly gain a valuable weapon on their offense back on Monday night. Since missing last Sunday’s game versus the Miami Dolphins, the Raiders running back Josh Jacobs’ injury status has been trending up.

For the Silver and Black, Jacobs’ potential return bodes well against the Los Angeles Chargers defense that allows the most yards per attempt (5.8) in the NFL. Gaining their former Pro-Bowl running back will also allow the Silver and Black to be more balanced offensively, which will be critical against the Charger defender.

Raiders must contain Los Angeles Chargers edge defender Joey Bosa

Without a doubt, the Los Angeles Chargers’ best defender is defensive end Joey Bosa. Bosa may not have the statistics yet this season to back his play up, but he can still change a game at any moment.

With the struggles of Las Vegas Raiders rookie offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, Bosa’s presence is a cause for concern. Ideally, the Raiders will establish the run game to limit the drastic pass rush scenarios that work in the NFL’s former 2016 AP defensive rookie of the year. Look for the Silver and Black to follow these keys for a potential victory against their AFC West division rival on Monday Night.
