What the Las Vegas Raiders rushing attack looks like at full health
The Las Vegas Raiders could be getting all of their running backs healthy for tonight’s game, so what does that look like at full strength?
Throughout the first three games of the Raiders’ season, the running game has been fairly underwhelmed. Third down back and trusted veteran Jalen Richard has been out with a foot injury since training camp, and star tailback Josh Jacobs battled through injury and illness in week 1 before missing the following two games. The two are expected back very soon.
Big money backup Kenyan Drake has been disappointing on the ground, missing holes as well as blitz pick-ups, while Peyton Barber was ineffective before a big second half against Miami.
With the return of Jacobs and Richard, as well as Drake and Barber, the Raiders have a deep and talented running back corps, and with one ball to go around, it’s fair to wonder how Coach Jon Gruden will deploy his stable of backs.
