Las Vegas Raiders: Recapping the AFC West in Week 4 of the 2021 NFL season

Denver Broncos Suffer First Loss Of The Season

Coming into Sunday, the Denver Broncos were one of five undefeated teams in the NFL, but Sunday was a nightmare, as they not only lost the game but also had to trot out Drew Lock in place of an injured Teddy Bridgewater. Lock wasn’t very good in this game, finishing with only 113 yards on 12 completions and an interception.

Bridgewater was 7-of-16 for 65 yards and a passing touchdown before his injury, and the Broncos were down by ten points. The Broncos did have some success on the ground, with the combination of Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon with both averaging over six yards a carry in this game, but this one was all Ravens.

The combination of Lamar Jackson and Hollywood Brown dominated the action, and the Ravens defense looked like the Ravens defenses of old. The Broncos had a cushy schedule to start, and will now face question marks on both sides of the ball after being throttled at home against a playoff contender in the Ravens.
