Las Vegas Raiders vs Chicago Bears: Game preview and prediction for 2021 Week 5

Game Preview

The Bears .500 record seems solid, considering their two losses are to the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns, two teams that are a combined 6-2 so far to start the season. Their two wins are over a good Cincinnati Bengals team that has only one loss, and the winless Detroit Lions.

So it is fair to say, it is truly hard to call how talented this Bears team is. The defense of this team is a really good bunch, even if the same cannot be said for their offense.

The defense of the Bears ranks just outside the top-10 in terms of yards allowed and is ranked top-10 in points allowed. It is basically the opposite for the offense, as they are last in yards per game and the third-worst in points scored this season.

For the Bears to have any chance in this one, they have to stack up well against a Raiders offense that has so far been one of the best in the league.

So we have a great defense going up against a great offense, a clash of titans in varying degrees. The Raiders have shown that they can put up points against stout defenses, even if this was not the case on Monday in Los Angeles.

The offense of the Bears would seem to be the biggest weakness in terms of this contest.

Las Vegas will be the backdrop for this one, and fans will be making their presence felt as they welcome Mack back into the fold as he faces his former team for the second time. This should be an interesting matchup, as the lackluster Raiders offensive line faces a true test once again.
