Las Vegas vs Chicago Bears: 3 Raiders to watch in Week 5

Yannick Ngakoue & Maxx Crosby

A two-for-one combo here. Victory for the Raiders hinges on a week-to-week basis from the play of their two dominant defensive ends. This will once again be the case in this contest, as the Silver and Black will be tested by the legs of quarterback Justin Fields.

The rookie quarterback has slightly improved with the expanded game-time he has received over the last couple of weeks, and he is officially the starting quarterback going forward for Chicago. This may pay huge dividends in terms of confidence for the young slinger, however, he has been a mixed bag of poor play and excitement, with the latter being in small increments.

Yannick Ngakoue and Maxx Crosby will need to pressure the young quarterback early and often, as the Bears will be without one of their best weapons in running back David Montgomery, who is out due to injury. This could signify that Fields will be going to the air more, which has not resulted in positive results so far for him.

But either way, with his speed, the two defensive ends will need to keep pressure on Fields, as his legs will be able to buy him some time to look downfield. Hopefully, this is not the week the Bears realize their steep investment in Fields was worth it, and the only way will be for Ngakoue and Crosby to nullify the skills of Fields.
