Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 Fantasy Football Week 5 Start or Sit

Start: Darren Waller

Due to the emergence of a young wide receiver core, the target share for Darren Waller has dropped significantly. After a performance for the ages in Week 1, his numbers have gone down quite a bit, half of this due to Carr trusting his other receivers more, and also Waller facing constant double teams.

Nevertheless, Waller is still one of the most trusted tight ends in all of football, and at least a top-three tight end in the league. He continues to be a red zone threat and also someone to watch on nearly every play with his sure-handed ability, and freakish athleticism.

As we stated here before, if you have Waller on your fantasy team you must start him every week, not only is he just that good, but even with the emergence of the Raiders receivers group, he is still by far the most talented of the entire bunch. He may not see the insane target count he did in Week 1, but he is still a consistent superstar of a player who must be started every single week.
