Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 Fantasy Football Week 5 Start or Sit

Sit: Bryan Edwards

Outside of Darren Waller, in terms of technical skills, Bryan Edwards may be the best of the wide receiver bunch. He has great hands, a large frame, and freakish athletic ability like Waller. However, this offense is not completely catered to his talents.

Edwards is having a great sophomore season, but it seems his skills would benefit in a more vertical offensive system.

The only consistent deep threat Carr has looked for every week is Henry Ruggs, his main slant options are Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller. This has led to the inconsistent numbers of Edwards, which was highlighted In the Week 4 loss to the Chargers when he only had one catch for four yards.

Hopefully, Carr and the Raiders offense gets the talented college record-breaking receiver involved more in this contest, but do not expect this to happen. Edwards will continue to be the fourth or at best — third most looked upon option in this offense as things stand. Sit Edwards if he is on your roster, he may be worth a roll of the dice, but do not say I did not warn you.
