Las Vegas Raiders Super Bowl reservation prices rise 79% after 3-1 start
The Las Vegas Raiders may have lost in Week 4, but the reservation prices for the Super Bowl continue to rise after a strong 3-1 start to the season.
Despite the disappointing performance for the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night, fans and the public continue to see potential in the team and their new state-of-the-art stadium. Following the 3-1 start for the Raiders, behind the superb play of quarterback Derek Carr and a stingy and feisty defense, the Super Bowl reservation prices for Raiders’ tickets on SI Tix have risen nearly 79% from $182 to $326 since the start of the preseason.
The Raiders entered the season with very little national love in the media. Many experts and pundits predicted the Raiders to finish last in the division and compete for a top-5 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. However, the team has surprised the NFL public with its historic start, defeating their first three opponents of the season, all of whom finished with 10+ wins last season.
The loss to the Chargers was very disappointing and the team must do work to potentially get to the playoffs and further.
It all starts with the offensive line for the Raiders. Reports out of Raiders practice are that first-round pick Alex Leatherwood is now working at right guard, which prompts a promotion for Brandon Parker at Right Tackle. Leatherwood has struggled mightily this season, but this seems to reflect the team trying to get its best five linemen on the field with the struggles of Jermaine Eleumenor.
It is more likely we see Leatherwood shift back to tackle when and if Richie Incognito returns from injury. However, the offensive line depth and struggles have led to early game struggles for the offense. The offensive line has been a strength for the Raiders since 2016, but we are now seeing a team with a weak line and a stronger defense.

Additionally, the Raiders are also struggling in the cornerback room, not because of poor play, but because of injuries. Trayvon Mullen and Damon Arnette were hurt in the Monday Night loss to the Chargers and will likely miss time.
Casey Heyward has been a revelation, but Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradley likely isn’t confident in Amik Robertson or Keisean Nixon opposite of Heyward. Nate Hobbs has been steady and reliable in the slot, while the run defense also leaves a lot to be desired.
For the Raiders to get to the playoffs, they need to get better on the offensive line and get healthy in the secondary. The return of Incognito should help, but the Raiders should survey the free agency pool. Despite these struggles, Derek Carr has played the best football of his career, while the weapons are coming into their own.
For the first time in Carr’s career, he has a defense that can get off the field and expectations have been raised. The playoffs are a real possibility, but to be a true Super Bowl contender, Jon Gruden has some work to do.
