Las Vegas Raiders vs Chicago Bears: Offensive Grades in 2021 Week 5

Wide Receivers

The Raiders receivers were not exactly shining in Week 4, but compared to what they did this week, the Week 4 loss to the Chargers was dazzling. They were a no-show in this matchup, the best of the bunch being Hunter Renfrow, whose six catches for 56 yards are not going to win any games.

Henry Ruggs only making three catches and Bryan Edwards only making two cannot happen, as the young core of receivers struggled all day Sunday against a rather daunting Bears Defense. Hopefully, they can buck the trend against another AFC West team on the decline in the Denver Broncos, but after what we saw on Sunday, you should probably hold your breath.

This is a talented group that can turn a game on its head at any time, and we will see what kind of game plan is dialed up for them this week against Denver. The Raiders will be going up against a tough secondary, but one that Big Ben had his way with last Sunday, so the opportunity is there for them to make a statement.
