3 Las Vegas Raiders who could be traded at the 2021 trade deadline

Andre James

The idea to cut or trade the struggling center is the real question here. The 24-year-old center, who had only started one game before this season, has been awful and that may be paying him a compliment at this point. After trading away former All-Pro center Rodney Hudson to the Arizona Cardinals in the offseason, the Raiders had the ‘apparent’ bright idea to award the inexperienced former undrafted player with a three-year,$12.5 million contract.

He has not only not lived up to the deal but has been one of the worst players on the Raiders this season. He does not take the mantle of the worst offensive lineman as this surely is placed upon rookie Alex Leatherwood, but Leatherwood has the excuse of being a rookie, James is not afforded this luxury.

He has looked out of place while botching snaps, and being mauled by opposing defensive linemen routinely. The Raiders need to move on from the struggling center, to move him and his contract they would probably have to give more compensation than they would get in return, but at this point, it is worth it.

Look for James to be possible trade or even cut candidate by the deadline.
