The eight-year starting quarterback started the season at such a historic rate, he was on pace to be the top quarterback in fantasy this season, but throughout the last two games, well not so much. He has thrown for a meager total of 402 yards over his last two games, a far cry of the first three games when he was nearly hitting the clip per game.

The Broncos have one of the best and stingiest defenses in football, with an elite pass rush and a dominant secondary, Carr should not have much success in this one. If he struggled against a middling Chargers defense, and a somewhat strong Bears defense, this Broncos defense is miles ahead of both, so I would not expect Carr to get back to his magic of the first few games in this one.

Kenyan Drake

Sure, he is a backup, but Kenyan Drake does receive snaps, even if most are on receiving downs, in which he largely has been ignored. He was brought in on a weird deal this offseason, a two-year, $14m deal. which for a ‘backup’ running back is mighty hefty.

The Raiders were looking to use Drake in numerous packages, and he seemed like a fantasy wildcard, the ability to run and catch the ball out of the backfield, had many in the preseason speculating he could outperform Josh Jacobs.

This is completely not the case, he has been used sparingly, and when he does get his hands on the ball, not much goes his way. He has been a solid flex option in some games this season, but going up against a stingy Broncos defense, do not expect the backup back to take off this week.
