The Las Vegas Raiders will play a crucial game on Sunday, going to Denver to take on the Broncos. Here are three bold predictions for the matchup.

The Las Vegas Raiders will head to Mile High Stadium in Denver on Sunday for a divisional clash with the rival Broncos. After beginning the season 3-0, the Raiders have dropped two straight games to the Chargers and Bears, respectively, and fallen to 3-2.

Now, after the earth-shattering resignation of former Head Coach Jon Gruden, Las Vegas will be forced to quickly pick themselves up, if they hope to keep their season alive. The state of the Raiders locker room is completely unknown, and it is yet to be seen how the Las Vegas players will respond to Interim Coach Rich Bisaccia.

Few would really be surprised to see the Raiders go in either direction, be it rallying around each other and Bisaccia, or, understandably so, seeing the season completely go down the drain. Suffice it to say, there are more than a few question marks for the Raiders that will need to be answered on Sunday.

The Broncos, aside, of course, from an email controversy resulting in the shameful resignation of their head coach, have had a relatively similar start to the season as the Raiders. They began the season 3-0, albeit against three winless teams, and subsequently lost back-to-back games. Now, sitting at 3-2, Denver is also looking to get their season back on track.

The Raiders have gotten the better of the Broncos since Denver’s victory in Super Bowl 50, winning 7 of the last 11 meetings. Moreover, Las Vegas is coming off a 2020 season in which they swept the Broncos, 2-0, including a 37-12 blowout victory for the Raiders.

The result of this contest should give a pretty strong indication of who the third team is in the AFC West, joining the Chiefs and Chargers, with a true opportunity to reach the postseason.

As the Raiders attempt to put an extremely tumultuous week into the rearview mirror, let’s take a look at a few bold predictions for Sunday’s meeting with the Broncos.
