Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos: 3 Bold Predictions for Week 6

Bold Prediction 3: Raiders are energized, win in first game under Rich Bisaccia

The Las Vegas Raiders’ players have gone through more in the last week than most teammates experience in an entire season.

Not only did they lose their head coach, but they were also exposed to extremely vile and hateful language, directed at groups they represent, that came from a man they had trusted and put their faith into. It would be completely fair, if not expected, for the Raiders to phone it in. After all, it seems that is what many are predicting.

The experience of a tragedy, or a loss, though, is sometimes a funny thing. Sometimes, more than anything else, it brings people together.

On Sunday, we will see the Raiders come together.

The situation that Rich Bisaccia is walking into is vastly different from the one most interim coaches experience. Most teams that bring in a replacement for their head coach, especially five weeks into the season, are heavily lacking in talent. With Las Vegas, that is not the case.

The Raiders are 3-2 and sit just one game back of the AFC lead. The players and coaches, alike, realize the opportunity that still sits in front of them. The Raiders will win this weekend and move to 4-2 and don’t be shocked if Sunday is the best game we have seen from Las Vegas on both sides of the ball.
