Las Vegas Raiders vs. Denver Broncos: 2021 Week 6 defensive grades

Linebackers

The best linebacker in this one was finally not Denzel Perryman. It was indeed the linebacker who should be the top one every week, well that is in terms of salary.

Cory Littleton finally had a strong showing on Sunday, while racking up 11 tackles (which also Perryman accumulated), he finally looked in his element on the field. Littleton had the only pass deflection among the linebacker group on Sunday and only allowed an 87.0 passer rating when targeted.

The same could not be said for Perryman, who despite racking up the tackles to continue being near the top of the league leaders in this category, allowed a 154.6 passer rating, and a late touchdown in the fourth quarter. As a whole, this unit had a strong showing, and although Bridgewater had a big chunk of passing yards on the unit, it was mainly when the game was out of hand late in the contest.

Hopefully, the stronger play can lead to momentum going into week seven.
