Las Vegas Raiders vs Philadelphia Eagles: 3 Raiders to watch in Week 7

No. 1: Derek Carr

The franchise will only go as far as the ‘captain’ can take them. After two horrific outings over back-to-back weeks in Week 4 and 5, Derek Carr responded in a big way on Sunday, getting back to the sterling form he displayed in the Raiders’ three opening games.

It is old news now that the Raiders are now under the tutelage of interim head coach Rich Bisaccia, and also the play-calling on offense being handled by offensive coordinator Greg Olson, but nevertheless, the eyes of the world will not be on the newly formed coaching nucleus, but on No. 4.

The Eagles, despite sporting a not-so-impressive record at 2-4, have one of the top passing defenses in all of the league, however, this was also the case in Week 6 for the Broncos, and Carr had no problems shredding that secondary. He is one to watch, and with a run game that is still somewhat suspect, the quarterback will have to have a wondrous performance once again to lead the franchise to victory.
