Las Vegas Raiders vs Philadelphia Eagles: 3 Raiders to watch in Week 7
No. 3: Henry Ruggs III
The second-year receiver has more yards than DeAndre Hopkins at this point in the season. Let that sink in, while also realizing that despite only having 20 receptions, he has over 440 yards receiving, meaning his average yards per catch is at over 22 yards per game.
Ruggs does not garner a large share of targets, but he doesn’t need to, as the thing about the deep ball threat is that once targeted, he is either taking it to the house for a touchdown or making a big play. He has been the best of the bunch in the receiving department, and hopefully, this is continued in Week 7.
The speedster is a tough matchup for any cornerback, as his speed is basically something you just cannot negate. No matter the matchup, Ruggs always can distance himself, and new play-caller, Greg Olson utilized him to perfection in the Week 6 win over Denver.
He has already accumulated as many receiving touchdowns as he did all season as a rookie, and also is only seven yards off of his whole receiving yards total in 2020. He will be one the Eagles and the world should keep an eye on in Sunday’s contest. Not bad for a guy who only has speed right?
