Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 Week 7 fantasy football Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Start em

Derek Carr

First off, my apologies for doubting Carr this last week. After two back-to-back subpar performances, it seemed the rug had been pulled out on his magical season. But Carr came back strong in Denver and went over 300 yards passing to go along with two scores.

Facing an Eagles team likely headed on a downturn, Carr should perform strongly once again in this one. He is second in passing yards for a reason, and he should go over 300 yards passing again in this one. Start him in all leagues.

Henry Ruggs

The Raiders have a new top receiving threat, and it is not tight end Darren Waller. The second-year receiver in Ruggs has become one of the top deep ball threats in all of football. Last week I made a comparison to wide receiver DeSean Jackson (well in his prime at least), and it seems that Ruggs’ play is reminiscent of the star wideout in his heyday with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ruggs may not garner a huger share of targets, but he does need many to produce as he is averaging over 22 yards a reception. Start the wideout this week as he will look to continue his dominant play.
