Las Vegas Raiders: 3 Philadelphia Eagles to worry about in Week 7

Javon Hargrave, DT

Javon Hargrave appears to be having the best year of his career in 2021. The 6th year vet is only 0.5 sacks away from his career-high of 6.5 and already tied his career-high in tackles for a loss only six games through the season with seven. The Raiders offensive line has struggled thus far, allowing Carr to go down 17 times which is seventh-worst in the NFL.

Inexperience and injuries have a lot to do with this, but the why is irrelevant come game time.

As stated in the previous slide, the Eagles passing defense has been solid this season. The Eagles only have 11 sacks, so it could be assumed it is the work of the secondary is in large part to credit for this. This begs the question of whether or not the Raiders will try and pound the ball with the running game against a rather poor run defense, which would be weakness versus weakness, or will the offense come out and sling it which would be strength versus strength.

Either way, the offensive line needs to step up as a unit and especially try to neutralize Javon Hargrave as the key member of the Eagles defensive line.
