The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon, and here is our preview and prediction for the matchup.
The final game before the much-needed bye for the Las Vegas Raiders is a tricky one. If records were an indicator of talent, then the Philadelphia Eagles (2-4) seem like an overmatched and easy opponent.
What is interesting about the Eagles is that they boast of one of the top defenses in all of football. Their play on offense may be another story, but quarterback Jalen Hurts is always a dangerous player to look out for, especially his dual-threat ability.
Las Vegas’s offense is one of the tops in the league, and will now face off against one of the best defenses in the league. Sometimes numbers do lie, this was the case in Week 6 when the team faced a statistically tough defense in the Denver Broncos.
The Silver and Black, who had faltered offensively in two straight games before the Denver matchup were in danger of dropping to .500 after opening the season 3-0. But somehow and some way, the offensive recovered and quarterback Derek Carr found his mojo again as the offense went almost 430 yards in the contest.
This matchup is intriguing, and while being tied for the AFC West lead with the Los Angeles Chargers, the Chargers face a New England Patriots team this week that gave one of the hottest teams in the league in the Dallas Cowboys a run for their money on Sunday. This is a must-win game for the Silver and Black, obviously.
So let’s preview and give our game day prediction for how this spooky Halloween matchup will go down.
