Las Vegas Raiders vs Philadelphia Eagles: Preview and Prediction in Week 7

Game Preview

Once again touching upon the offense versus defense matchup is the highlight here for the most part, but the Raiders defense for once is actually a fun thing to watch. This has not been the case for years, even with the play of former All-Pro Khalil Mack lining up on the defense.

As a whole, the Raiders defense looks so much better than any recent memory. The pass-rushing, led by defensive end Maxx Crosby has elevated the expectations for a team with a new coordinator, also the surprising play from defensive tackles who were at a crossroads in their careers before this season.

This expectation is a reality when by the numbers the Raiders are top-five overall in sacks. They will look to continue this trend against a running quarterback in Hurts whose passing is not up to par with his running ability.

The offense of the Eagles is technically the weakest point on both teams. By the numbers it is middling, but with a quarterback in Hurts that is hard to trust, it truly will be a daunting task for the Eagles offense to handle the pressure of the Raiders pass rush.
