Las Vegas Raiders vs Philadelphia Eagles: 3 bold predictions in Week 7

Josh Jacobs rushes for over 100 yards

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, the Eagles have struggled to defend against the run, and few teams are worse in that department. On Sunday, the Eagles will be going up against Josh Jacobs, one of the premier young running backs in the NFL.

This hasn’t been the exact start to the season that Josh Jacobs had envisioned, although he is coming off his best offensive game. He has been banged up and has struggled alongside the offensive line when he has played, making this his worst statistical season so far in his career.

I think that all changes this week, as the only reason Jacobs has been on the injury report recently is because of illnesses.  Jacobs is the healthiest he’s been at any point of the season, and last week, he tallied a season-high 53 yards.

Not only is Jacobs coming off his best game of the season, but the offensive line is also coming off a stellar performance.  If they both can take the momentum that was gained last Sunday and put it into this week it could spell really good things for the Raiders on Sunday.
