Las Vegas Raiders vs Philadelphia Eagles: 3 bold predictions in Week 7

Darren Waller goes for over 150 yards

Darren Waller is not only one of the best players on the Raiders team, but he is also one of the best players in the league. He is a matchup nightmare no matter what position tries to guard him, as he is too fast for linebackers and safeties, and he is too big for cornerbacks.

In recent weeks, teams have put a bigger focus on stopping Waller and making the other players on offense beat them.  Waller had a huge Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens, pulling in ten receptions on 19 targets for 105 yards, but since then, the highest total yardage he’s had was 65 yards, and that was Week 2 against the Steelers.

Last week against the Broncos, Waller had five receptions for 59 yards.  The Eagles have been good in pass coverage so far this season due to their talent at cornerback, but one position they have struggled to cover has been the tight end. I think Derek Carr, Waller, and the Raiders’ offense can take advantage of that one weakness of their pass defense.
