Las Vegas Raiders vs Philadelphia Eagles: 3 bold predictions in Week 7

Raiders defense pitches a shutout

I mean, this is a place for bold predictions right?

The Raiders defense is at the top of the league in terms of pass defense, and toward the bottom of the league in terms of run defense, so what do I see as a potential plus for the Raiders in that regard?  The Eagles do not like to run the ball if that player’s name isn’t Jalen Hurts.

The Eagles’ offense is predicated on Jalen Hurts making plays happen with his athletic ability, making them very predictable at times on that side of the ball. While he has some weapons in the passing game, he has struggled to get that part of his game going, which plays into one of the Raiders’ strengths.

The defense has been the most impressive part of the Raiders team so far with Maxx Crosby, Casey Hayward, Nate Hobbs, and Denzel Perryman being talked about at a national level.   I believe Sunday will be the best performance of the season for this defense, and they pitch a shut out against a rookie head coach and a second-year quarterback still getting used to the league.
