The Philadelphia Eagles and their tough pass defense take on quarterback Derek Carr and the dangerous pass offense of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The seasons of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Las Vegas Raiders are going in opposite directions at the moment. The Eagles are coming into this game 2-4 after a tough loss on Thursday Night Football to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while the Raiders are coming off a 34-24 win on the road over their division rival Denver Broncos.
With that win, the Silver and Black are tied for first in the division with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is struggling to come together with a game plan suitable for quarterback Jalen Hurts, and the Eagles offense is struggling a bit to start the season. Everything they do on offense relies on Hurts’s ability to run with the football and make things happen on the fly.
The Eagles’ offense ranks in the middle of the league in terms of total offense, and the Raiders are a top-ten offense coming off of their best offensive performance of the season. These two teams’ defenses are pretty similar though, struggling against the rush, as they are both ranked in the bottom half of teams in that respect, but both are strong against the pass.
This will be a tough game for the Raiders to win even being at home and will prove once again if the Raiders are ready for success. As the Raiders look to enter the bye week with a 5-2 record, here are three bold predictions for the game on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
