2. Passing Touchdowns: Jalen Hurts Under 1.5 (-120)
The Las Vegas Raiders defense stepped up in a big way this past weekend, harassing Teddy Bridgwater all game long, and really putting the clamps on what the Broncos like to do offensively. This weekend, they take on a dynamic young quarterback in Jalen Hurts, and while he has shown the ability to get the job done throughout his short career, this could be a tough matchup for him.
Hurts has the incredible ability to hurt you with his feet, and against Tampa Bay last Thursday, he rushed for two touchdowns with throwing for another. Against Las Vegas, he will likely find the end zone with his feet, and may even throw a score, but I do not believe he will have multiple touchdowns passes against this defense.
The Raiders’ plan will be to get pressure on him all game long, and that will lead to him taking some chances down the field, which could lead to mistakes. Sure, the Eagles are going to put up some points in this one, and Hurts could have a solid day, but two touchdown passes won’t be in the cards for him on Sunday.
