As the Las Vegas Raiders move into the post-Jon Gruden era, one area that certainly needs improvement is the draft, and here is an early 2022 Mock.

The Las Vegas Raiders currently stand at 4-2 and look poised to still be a threat in AFC despite the drama from Jon Gruden’s departure.

However, it is never wrong to look into the future and see how this roster can be improved for future success. Gruden’s roster decision has left this team thin in multiple areas, and whoever takes over as the next head coach will need to address these mistakes.

And the best way to do that is by making wise decisions in the draft.

With the rise of Justin Herbert and the stardom of Patrick Mahomes, the competition within this division will remain challenging. So, the Raiders can’t afford to swing and miss as they have in previous drafts, especially with their top picks.

It is still early in the draft process, so deep knowledge of each prospect isn’t possible, but with what we have, here is a look at an early seven-round mock draft for 2022.
