3 reasonable expectations for the Las Vegas Raiders vs the Eagles in Week 7

The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7, and here are three reasonable expectations for the Silver and Black.
Entering Week 7 of the 2021 NFL season, the Las Vegas Raiders are right in the thick of things when it comes to the AFC. They have beaten some outstanding teams, like the Baltimore Ravens, but have also had their stinkers, see the Chicago Bears game, all of which amounts to a 4-2 start to the year.
On Sunday, the Silver and Black take on the Philadelphia Eagles, a 2-4 team that is a lot better than their record would indicate. They have a dynamic young quarterback in Jalen Hurts, who can beat teams with his arm and his legs, as well as a cornerback in Darius Slay who is playing as good as any defensive back in the league right now.
Still, this is a very winnable game for the Raiders, and here, we look at three reasonable expectations for the team against the Eagles.
3 reasonable expectations for the Las Vegas Raiders vs the Eagles in Week 7
Josh Jacobs rushes for over 100 yards
Josh Jacobs had his best game of the season last week, rushing for 53 yards against a tough Denver Broncos defense. In Week 7, he goes up against an Eagles defense that has some playmakers but is pretty bad against the run, an area that the Silver and Black need to dominate in this one.
I like Jacobs to tote the rock more than he has all season long, getting his first 100-yard game of the season, and helping Las Vegas to a victory.
The defense forces three turnovers
The Las Vegas defense was very opportunistic this past week, forcing interceptions and really suffocating the Broncos’ offense at the point of attack. Against the Eagles, they will be going up against a team that has a very young quarterback, and one who is susceptible to making mistakes, and I believe Las Vegas gets a pick or two, as well as a fumble recovery in this one.
Maxx Crosby notches two sacks
Madd Maxx is on a rampage this year and is widely regarded as one of the best, if not the best edge rusher in all of football. Against this Eagles offensive line, he should be in for a monster game, and I could see him adding two more sacks to his total, giving him seven total through the first seven games of the season.
That is a nice pace.
Overall, the Raiders are the better team in this one, and while it is not always the case, they should have their way with the Eagles on Sunday afternoon. A win would move them to 5-2 heading into their bye week, an outstanding start to such a turbulent season.
