2021 Week 7 NFL Power Rankings: Can the Raiders break into the top-5?

No. 14 through 10

Pittsburgh Steelers. 14. team. 55. . .

The Pittsburgh Steelers started their season with a surprising win against Buffalo on the road, before losing three straight. Since then, they have won back-to-back games against Denver and Seattle, and coming out of their bye week, they will look to start making some headway in a very tough AFC North division.

53. . . . Cleveland Browns. 13. team

No Baker Mayfield, no problem for the Cleveland Browns, who were able to take care of business against the Denver Broncos on Thursday night. This is a team that is decimated with injuries right now, but they will be in the thick of things come playoff time, and should make another run if they can get healthy.

. . Kansas City Chiefs. 12. team. 124.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the bigger surprises in the AFC this season, as they look like the defending AFC champs some weeks, then look terrible in others. In Week 7, they laid an egg against the Tennessee Titans, and if they do not get the defense right, they could be looking more like a cellar dweller in the AFC West than the kings of the conference.

. . . Buffalo Bills. 11. team. 16

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are one of the better teams in football once again, and they have some real easy sledding in front of them in the next couple of weeks. Buffalo is 4-2 on the season, and have games against the Dolphins, Jaguars, and Jets on the horizon, so expect them to 7-2 after that run.

10. team. 13. . . . Los Angeles Chargers

When it comes to the best young players in football, Los Angeles Chargers signal-caller Justin Herbert is as good as it gets, even if he is coming off a stinker against the Baltimore Ravens before the bye week in Week 7. Los Angeles is going to be in the mix for the top spot in the AFC when all is said and done, and it will be up to the Raiders, and the rest of the division to knock them off.
