Rotational Players

Kenyan Drake – running back

Kenyan Drake was a Las Vegas Raider free agent signing that generated some raised eyebrows due to his contract. However, due to Josh Jacobs’ injuries, I do not believe anyone is too concerned with how much he is making considering his production in recent weeks.

Moving forward, he may have a much larger workload in the offense, with Jacobs’ status seemingly in question each week.

Quinton Jefferson – defensive tackle

Former Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson has proven to be a solid rotational pass rusher for the Silver and Black. In addition, he has forced two fumbles for the team on the season. Since the injury to teammate Johnathan Hankins in Week 6, Jefferson has seen more playing time.

While Hankins is still playing, Quinton saw 43 defensive snaps this past Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles versus Johnathan’s 35.

As of now, he has generated sixteen quarterback pressures in seven games played. Moving forward, do not be surprised if he becomes more of a difference-maker than he already has been this season.
