Week 10: Kansas City Chiefs
The Raiders have played in two division games so far this season, one loss against the Chargers and one win against the Broncos. For the first time in a long time, the Raiders are on top of the division with a 5-2 record, while the Chiefs are tied for last in the division with the Broncos, who have lost four games in a row, with a 3-4 record.
The Chiefs have been struggling on defense so far this season ranking 25th in rush defense and 28th in passing defense. The offense and Patrick Mahomes have also surprisingly been struggling as well.
In Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans, the offense put up a total of three points with three turnovers by quarterback Patrick Mahomes before he left late in the third quarter and got replaced by Chad Henne after getting hit in the head and neck area. If the Raiders want a realistic chance at winning the division, they have to beat the Chiefs.
Derek Carr is second in the league in passing yards and is everywhere in MVP talks at the moment. In Week 7, Carr set an NFL record becoming the first quarterback in league history with two games of at least 90% completion percentage, but if he wants to finally be taken seriously by the national media it starts with this game at home against the Kansas City Chiefs.
