2021 Post-Week 8 NFL Power Rankings: Las Vegas Raiders enjoy the bye week

No. 14 through 10

. . Previous: 9th. Cincinnati Bengals. 14. team. 56

In what was a huge surprise in Week 8, the Cincinnati Bengals went into MetLife Stadium and were beaten by a young, and inexperienced New York Jets team. Mike White was able to do whatever he wanted against the Bengals’ defense, and in the end, Joe Burrow did not have enough magic left in him to come away with the road victory.

Los Angeles Chargers. 13. team. 13. . . Previous: 10th

The Los Angeles Chargers were widely considered one of the best teams in the NFL early on, and many felt they would be a sleeper pick to win the AFC. However, they have come back to Earth as of late, getting blown out by Baltimore two weeks ago, and then losing at home to the New England Patriots this past Sunday.

12. team. 15. . . Previous: 15th. New Orleans Saints

In a win against the hated Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, the New Orleans Saints played a complete game and came away with a shocking victory. However, they lost starting quarterback Jameis Winston in the process, as a horse-collar tackle by Devin White forced him to land weird on his leg, tearing his ACL.

124. . . Previous: 12th. Kansas City Chiefs. 11. team

The Kansas City Chiefs are having some real issues on the defensive side of the ball, which is something to keep an eye on as the season rolls on. They have a ton of talent on offense and are going to score points, but if the defense continues to play this year, they are going to have real issues down the stretch.

Pittsburgh Steelers. 10. team. 55. . . Previous: 14th

The Pittsburgh Steelers may not be a team that many expect to do much this season, but they continue to stack wins, including a solid road win within the division on Sunday against Cleveland. Sure, Big Ben looks real old at times, but they are winning, and are now 4-3 on the young season.
