2021 Post-Week 8 NFL Power Rankings: Las Vegas Raiders enjoy the bye week

No. 4 through 1

4. team. 48. . . Previous: 1st. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have lost to the New Orleans Saints in Week 8, but that does nothing to diminish where this team could end up when all is said and done. They fall to No. 4 after a week as the No. 1 team in our NFL power rankings, but with Jameis Winston’s injury, the Bucs are the clear favorite to run away with the NFC South.

. Previous: 7th. Dallas Cowboys. 3. team. 123.

The Dallas Cowboys proved to be one of the more complete teams in the NFL in Week 8, as they beat the Minnesota Vikings on the road without quarterback Dak Prescott. When healthy, Prescott makes the Cowboys one of the few true Super Bowl contenders in the NFC, and to win without him was huge for the team this past Sunday night.

. . Previous: 2nd. Green Bay Packers. 7. team. 49

The Green Bay Packers vault to No. 2 in our NFL rankings this week, this after their strong victory on the road against the previously unbeaten Arizona Cardinals. Aaron Rodgers is playing at an MVP level and was able to beat the Cardinals without his top receiving weapons, making this a very dangerous team moving forward.

team. 51. . . Previous: 1st. Los Angeles Rams. 4

The No. 1 team in our rankings this week is fresh off an easy victory in Week 8, as they got out to a 38-0 lead against the Houston Texans, and were able to cruise to their seventh win of the season. Matthew Stafford has to be thanking his lucky stars that he was traded away from the Detroit Lions, who happens to be the No. 32 team on our list, and after trading for Von Miller, this Rams team is going to be tough to beat moving forward.
