Las Vegas Raiders: Game by game predictions after the 2021 bye week

Week 12 – Nov. 25 at Dallas Cowboys (Thanksgiving)

The Dallas Cowboys are suddenly one of the most complete teams in the NFL. We already knew how explosive their offense can be and they showed that even without quarterback Dak Prescott they have enough firepower to win games.

What has been the Achilles heel of previous Cowboys teams is the defense but they appear to have addressed that in a major way this year. They have a fast, physical, and opportunistic defense much like the Raiders and they have Playmakers at every level. They have a tendency to be undisciplined at times but they have enough talent to make up for that deficiency.

This will be one of the Marquee games of the week and will be the highlight of the NFL’s Thanksgiving slate of games. The last time the Raiders faced the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, Matt McGloin and Andre Holmes duked it out with Tony Romo and Dez Bryant and the Raiders fell short but this time at least the offenses will be on a similar level.

Winning on the road in Dallas on the day they have owned for most of their history would be a great notch in the belt for the Raiders but the Cowboys’ offense may be too much for the Silver and Black to handle.  This game also comes just 4 days after a tough test against the physical Bengals and that is just one more reason we can expect a loss here.

Loss – Record: 7-4
