Las Vegas Raiders: Game by game predictions after the 2021 bye week

Week 14 – Dec. 12 at Kansas City Chiefs

The dreaded trip to Kansas City in December returns after the Raiders got a one-year reprieve in 2020. Since the 2010 season, the Raiders have had to play in Kansas City in December or January 8 out of 11 times and have won at Arrowhead just 4 times over that span. Maybe it’s the weather or maybe it’s the fact that the Chiefs have just been better but either way, playing in frigid Missouri makes the trip all that much tougher for the Raiders.

Many have buried the Chiefs and have claimed that they will not make the playoffs this season but they still have plenty of talent across the board, especially on offense. They may indeed end up missing the playoffs due to their tough start and the first-place schedule they have to play but you can’t count them out at home.

The Raiders will have this game circled so they can prove last year was no fluke, especially if they lose the Sunday Night Football matchup but it may be too much to expect a sweep of the defending AFC champions. This Chiefs team could fall apart or rally in the weeks leading up to this game but as of now, we will chalk this one up as a loss for the Raiders.
