Las Vegas Raiders: Game by game predictions after the 2021 bye week

Week 16 – Dec. 26 vs. Denver Broncos

In week 6, the Raiders went into Denver and beat the brakes off the Broncos. The final score was 34-24  but it was far closer than the actual game. The Raiders jumped out to an early lead and set back on defense which allowed the Broncos to make it a bit more interesting but in the end, they were able to beat up on Teddy Bridgewater and force the Denver offense into several turnovers.

The Broncos were picked by many as a potential surprise team in the AFC thanks to their defense and the supposedly steady play of Bridgewater at quarterback. However, well the defense has been decent, Bridgewater has been shaky at best and they appear poised to pick in the top 10 once again. A clear indication of that intent has been the recent trade of All-Pro linebacker, Von Miller, to the Los Angeles Rams which is great news for the Raiders

This is another game that looks easy on paper and the Raiders should be favored by at least a touchdown in this matchup. Denver came to Allegiant stadium in 2020 and turned the ball over five times and has not improved much since that matchup. It may not be as straightforward as the 2020 version of the scheme but the Raiders should be able to sweep the Broncos yet again.
