3 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders can still win the AFC West

Derek Carr is playing like the best QB in the division

If you asked fans around the NFL to rank the QBs in the AFC West, every one of them would have put Patrick Mahomes at number one, and probably 75% of them would have placed Justin Herbert at second and Derek Carr at third. Halfway through the season, it is clear that Carr is playing the best football out of all of them.

Carr has taken a big step this year, and with a defense to back him up, the Raiders are winning games, and lately have been convincingly winning them. Now, with Ruggs out, Carr’s style may have to change a little bit, but I still have faith that he will be able to lead the team and continue to put points on the board.

This team feels different than past years, as they have battled through adversity and found ways to win close games. If there is anyone that can keep the Raiders on the right track, it is Carr.
