Las Vegas Raiders: 3 players who must step up with Henry Ruggs III gone

Bryan Edwards

An obvious choice, but it can’t go without saying that Bryan Edwards is going to need to produce a lot more on the field with Ruggs gone. Edwards has had a pretty good season so far, especially in the fourth quarter and overtime of games, but in my opinion, he has not lived up to expectations so far.

Edwards was talked about as a potential star during training camp, and everyone knows what type of potential he has. Unfortunately, Edwards has not gotten a ton of targets so far this season and has been pretty absent for the most part until the very end of games.

With Ruggs gone, Edwards is going to have to step up and make big plays earlier in games, like Ruggs had for the Raiders this season. He is from the same draft class but has a different skillset, so changes would have to come within the offense to make him the No. 1 weapon on the outside for the Silver and Black.
