3 Reasons the Las Vegas Raiders need to sign Odell Beckham Jr.

No. 2: An injection of energy

The Las Vegas Raiders are having, quite possibly, the most tumultuous season that a single professional sports team has ever had to endure. They have seemingly been dealt blow after blow, with the most recent being so much bigger than football.

Nobody would, or should, blame this Raiders team for not being the most energized or focused.

Of course, adding a player to the roster, no matter who it is not going to just make everything better. The acquisition of a star wide receiver won’t make the Raiders’ players forget that their coach betrayed their trust or their former teammate is now facing prison time.

Signing Odell Beckham Jr. could definitely aid these Raiders, though, in the energy department.

Despite the narrative of Beckham Jr., being a locker room issue or not getting along with teammates, there has been nothing but positive remarks about playing with him from former teammates (at least with names attached to them).

The superstar WR would be a welcome addition to the Raiders’ locker room.

Just take a look at any Odell pregame circus catch ritual or his outlandish dance routines. Beckham Jr. provides energy. A spark. Beckham Jr. is fun, and the Raiders could really use some fun.
